EXPERTISE - 5th project meeting in Lithuania
EXPERTISE - LEGO Experience
The aim of the project is to exchange experience in the field of education of young people, especially those with smaller opportunities, to develope their intra- and interpersonal competences, supporting social inclusion and enabling them to move more smoothly from the educational environment to the labour market. Thanks to the cooperation between various educational institutions, private training institutions and non-governmental organizations, the EXPERTISE project will create a platform which allow to exchange good practices at the European level, relating to the training of young people in order to increase their employability.
The fifth partner meeting was held in Šiauliai (Lithuania) on 15-16 April 2019, wher the hosting organization was EDUPLIUS.
One of the topics discussed during the meeting was LEGO SERIOUS PLAY method. This method allows to develop skills such as strategic planning, team building, creative thinking, communication as well as problem solving skills. This method is based on many years of research conducted in the field of business, organization development, psychology as well as science, and its importance is based on the concept of "hand knowledge."
The participants of the meeting had the opportunity to practice this method by building three-dimensional models, using selected LEGO bricks. The constructed models were the subject of discussion and exchange of knowledge. In addition, this method is intended to encourage all participants to effective dialogue.
The next partner meeting will take place in Poland and the hosting institution will be WSBINOZ.
