The individuals starts to learn about the social environment and their own cultures through the process of socialization, through family, friends, education and the media. With the development and widespread use of mass media, culture has become a commodity that has been produced and marketed. Culture is exported to the other countries together with ‘mediatic products’ by the countries which producing mass media (Adıgüzel, 2001 : 103). Therefore, mass media is a cultural transmitter and carrier. The media which is a kind of mass media has a great influence on the individual's knowledge, opinion, attitude, feelings and behavior. 

In our project, we will deal with stereotypes and prejudices that can occur in societies by transferring cultural codes from cinema and series through audiovisual media tools. Our project aims to increase the awareness of the society that the films serving as communication channels are to be played as a means to lead to sensitivity to social and public debate and cultural problems. 

Our Purposes : 

1. Throughout the project, cultural interaction between 15-25 year old youth, support of intercultural understanding, to raise critical thinking about media content. 
2. To develop English communication and cooperative working skills through creative methods 
3. Evaluating the cultural elements of the target group and developing ways of transferring them through art
4. Raising awareness by creating project portfolio within European cultural heritage 
5. Ensuring continuity of communication and international capacities development by networking partners 
6. Ensure that young people use their creative capacities for the development of intercultural competence 

In the change program, young people from partner countries will analyze and use the media to combat discrimination. On the basis of examples from their own countries, they will work on a common understanding of the social functioning of media, series and motion picture films and will examine the cases of discrimination and stereotyping. 

One of the overall objectives of the EU 2010-2018 Youth and ET 2020 Strategy is to encourage active citizenship, social participation and solidarity among young people. Therefore, the active participation of young people, both buyers and spectators in cultural access, to the arts and cultural events is important. 

Seven participants and one group leader from 15 to 25 years of age from different program countries will take part in the project mobility. The leaders don’t have age limits.Participants' gender distribution is considered a minimum importance on girls. Participants will consist of the people who are interested in arts and culture, who are prone to teamwork, strong communication skills, and who can speak English adequately. 

Two main activities are planned. This is the preliminary meeting to be held between 2 and 3 November 2018. At the preliminary meeting, attendees 'preparation, partners' roles, logistics and organizational arrangements and other issues will be discussed. Our second main activity is youth change. The change will take place within 7 days except the road between 20-26 January 2019. Activity location Is Tarsus. Activity program contains collaborative workshops, creative workshops for filming and film editing, teamwork with the help of experts, thematic interactive games, creative workshops for learning by doing-live, roundtable meetings for the screenings, various challenges, critical discussion meetings and evaluation processes. 

The Youthpass Certificate, the Europass Resume, the project portfolio and the short films made by the young participants are concrete outputs of the project. While contributing to the struggle with prejudices and cultural stereotypes at the end of the project together with concrete and abstract outputs; will help to build a stronger Europe. In addition, the collaborative employee will work towards the new generation of young people and leaders who have other skills and abilities along with advanced communication skills, will provide motivation to individuals, community organizations and institutions.
